Once a tree has been removed, the left over stump can take up considerable space, look unsightly and can lead to a spread in fungal infections.
Using our specialist Stump Grinding machines, we remove the stump to at least 300mm below ground level, which enables the area to be re-used for future planting or grassing over etc, prevents re-growth from the stump and eliminates the possiblity of fungus growth.
On completion of stump removal, the remaining hole will be back filled with soil and grinding chippings.
In order to get the grinding machine to the stump, we ideally require a minimum width of 900mm (3ft). However, if the access is narrower than this, don't worry, as we have a smaller machine!
We need to visit the site in order to determine all aspects of the work (access, stump sizes and location, hazards etc) and will provide you with a free, fixed priced quotation.
